Equestria Daily Draw-Off Comic pg 1

So Equestria Daily, a MLP:FIM fansite, is having a draw off competition with really awesome prizes and I thought since there wasn't any rules forbidding human!ponies, I'd give it a shot (I haven't drawn a single pony before and while I'm aware that practice makes perfect and this entry could be a chance to practice drawing them, I didn't want to risk having my entry look like complete crap).

I've liked the idea of making up a comic meant to follow a song and I've toyed with it a bit on my own, but this is the first time I fully carried out that idea. I was in a bit of a rush with this comic in general since it wasn't until December 10 that I decided to enter the contest and I had a lot to do even during the break. I think as a result, the comic doesn't follow along with the song as well as it could have, especially in the first page. I would have liked to add some extra 'silent' panels to follow along with the instrumental pieces in-between the lyrics, but it wasn't until the page was all inked up that I realized it could be better. Sorry about that....
